Turmeric Citrus Lifter
Lift your spirits and immunity with this smoothie. You will feel a noticeable lift in your mood with this one! Great for middle of winter pick me up as well as all year long.

- Yield: 1, 20 fl oz smoothie
- 1 small orange, segmented
- 3-4 grapefruit segments
- 3 whole kumquats (leave intact)
- 1/3″ piece of fresh ginger, peeled
- 1/2″ piece of fresh turmeric root, peeled
- 1 tablespoon local, raw honey
- 16 oz cold water or coconut water
In a high-speed blender, combine all ingredients and blend VERY well until smooth.
Note: Due to the ‘stringy’ nature of fresh gingerroot, your smoothie may have fibrous pieces. Don’t worry about those. 😉
