Turmeric Citrus Lifter

Lift your spirits and immunity with this smoothie. You will feel a noticeable lift in your mood with this one! Great for middle of winter pick me up as well as all year long.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 small orange, segmented
  • 34 grapefruit segments
  • 3 whole kumquats (leave intact)
  • 1/3” piece of fresh ginger, peeled
  • 1/2” piece of fresh turmeric root, peeled
  • 1 tablespoon local, raw honey
  • 16 oz cold water or coconut water

Instructions

In a high-speed blender, combine all ingredients and blend VERY well until smooth.

Notes

Note: Due to the ‘stringy’ nature of fresh gingerroot, your smoothie may have fibrous pieces. Don’t worry about those. 😉
