Product Highlight: Greek Salmon Bowl

This meal is newer than others we’ve featured on the blog. We’ve only had it on the menu for about a year, but it’s quickly become a favorite among both our staff and customers. There’s something about it that just says “April” to me. It’s the perfect meal for the season, and I wanted to give it the spotlight it deserves.

At its core, this bowl captures the essence of Greek and Mediterranean flavors in the best way possible. It’s all about clean, fresh ingredients and vibrant, simple flavors that work beautifully together.

For the base of the bowl, we start with garlic butter orzo. The garlic butter is made in-house and sent ready to melt in your skillet. As you toast the orzo, your kitchen will fill with the wonderful aroma of garlic, butter, and the slightly nutty scent of pasta as it toast.

While the orzo cooks, you can prepare the salmon. Lightly oiled and seasoned with our spice mix, the salmon goes into the oven. When it’s done, you’ll have a slightly crispy outside and a tender, flaky interior. The spice blend complements the natural flavor of the fish, allowing its flavor to shine through, even alongside the orzo and toppings.

Speaking of toppings, this meal is full of fresh, vibrant veggies–cherry tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, spinach, red onions, and briny Kalamata olives. They add a satisfying crunch and burst of flavor to each bite.

The bowl is then finished with crumbly feta cheese. Oh, and don’t forget the tzatziki sauce–made with grated cucumber and fresh dill it’s slightly tangy and bright, really rounding out the rest of the flavors in the bowl.

Together, all of these ingredients create a hearty yet light dish that’s perfect for the warm spring weather. It’s simple to make and easy to customize, with all the ingredients sent separately, so you can make the bowl your own. Give it a try on our April 28th menu—it’s a meal you won’t want to miss!
