Margarita Mixer
Weeeeeee! Margarita time! (jk, when is it not?) This recipe was inspired by my husband who knew my love for the ‘real’ margaritas we had when we lived on Margarita Island in Venezuela. They were pretty much, tequila…and a little bit of lime and salt with a pinch of sugar. Nothing at all like our sweet margarita mixes that are commercially available.
One warm Saturday afternoon, he squeezes fresh limes and mixes it with a touch of agave nectar. That’s it! I added the citrus flair to this recipe since I don’t use or like triple sec..so it gives me the citrus punch there. Cheers!
