Basil Berry Smoothie

Basil isn’t just for savory items..it compliments the sweetness of strawberries so well. Fresh basil is also packed with antioxidants out the wazoo, so jam some in your smoothie and feel fancy!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup frozen berry mix
  • 1/2 cup frozen or fresh strawberries, trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 oz fresh baby spinach leaves
  • 67 medium-sized fresh basil leaves
  • 16 fl oz cold water

Instructions

In a high-speed blender, combine all and blend VERY well until smooth. Due to the nature of berries, you’ll have some seeds in there, but it’s all good. So yummy, cheers!
